These works are oil paintings, prints and collages that deal with mind, matter and environment relationships. These artworks carry a continual focus on modern physics. I utilize methods of chance to assemble a synthesis between the concept’s probability and it’s state of being. I utilize collage, visceral paint and suggestive form abstraction as my tools of chance. This is balanced with my interests in traditional materials and methods of image making. My work tends to be dark and surreal about relationships between personified physical laws. These phenomena prompt an inquiry into the similarities between consciousness and the mechanical laws that govern our existence.
